Today, I want to talk to you and give you a little insight on what to say on the social media videos that you record. So places like Instagram, tiktok and other places have really valued having us post videos in order to capture people's attention, and so if you're one of those people that's struggling to figure out what you should be saying in your videos whether it's a live video or recorded video I find the method that I'm going to share here to be super easy for you to put together your script, and if you are trying to build a brand and build a business and really connect with people. At some point you probably are going to have to jump into the video space whether it's a pre-recorded video or a live video, like I'm doing here and you are going to have to practice. But the practice will be easier when you have a formula that you can use and perfect. And so what I would suggest to you is to use a strategy or a formula called PASO, and the PASO strategy is this you know, every good formula has an acronym to help you remember.

But it's problem agitate solution and offer. So it's problem agitate solution and offer. So what this would look like in a video is you identify the problem that people are having, and so let's just take let's take a video that I previously did about what to email your mailing list. The first thing I did in that video was say, hey, I know you may be struggling with having fear around emailing your mailing list or you just may not know what you should be sending them. So, right there, I've identified the problem. So, right up front, if you can identify with that problem, you'll likely listen to more of the video. And then the a is agitate. Really dig into that pain point. So even go deeper into why this is a problem and and so sticking with that example in the video about what to mail your mailing list, the agitation part is me telling people hey, if you don't email your mailing list, you could lose customers. You could lose clients. You're breaking the connection and trust with the people that signed up to your mailing list in the first place. So I'm really bringing home why this problem is hurting you.

Then we can offer people a solution in the video, and so my solution sticking with this same example was teaching people the Weo sequence. The Weo sequence is something that you can use to understand what you should be emailing your mailing list. So I gave them a solution to their problem.

But the last thing that you want to do in the video is make an offer, so your offer could also just be a call to action.

So you want to think about this.

Last part in the video is offering the people that are watching the opportunity to do whatever it is you want them to do.

So your offer can be whatever you want it to be, but it's going to be the thing that you want people to take action on, and so I hope this helps in terms of getting you to take the next step in jumping on video to connect with people, reach your target audience and offer some people some value and information.
